Hello, Twenty Twelve
The new year has arrived and most of us our spending the first day hungover making promises to the new year. Including myself- minus the hangover. (I have a 5k today!) A few weeks ago I thought about what I wanted to achieve in 2012 and things I’d like to improve on. Well baby, that list is LONG. That led me to think about what is most important but choosing between activities like washing my face before bed or saying nightly prayers isn’t easy. As it turns out, Adam has a similar list of things he’d like to change or do or make more time for; etc. With some thought and some nerdiness for this new year we have a slogan not a resolution. We channeled our inner Barney and decided we’d “Be 2012”.

This year I hope to:

- Time for hobbies
- Spend more time in the kitchen- bake more healthy treats!
- More dates: with friends, with Adam, with family, with the phone
- A.M. sun salutations and pray before bed (wash face & brush teeth too!)

- Daily exercise- easy or intense: JUST DO IT. side note: run more
- Take vitamins daily, drink more water
- Do chores more frequent (ahem, laundry)
- Time in the studio

- Tackle the “to finish” project list
- More structure with website
- Save for our future
There is so much I want to do which is probably impossible to actually achieve. (the above list is a very abridged version) I plan to pick a handful of things each month and work towards achieving them. Hopefully some habits will stick. Hopefully in 365 days I can come back to this post with a huge list of achievements!
